Mentoring

To me mentoring is a very personal thing and we customize every program to fit the individual. No two are alike so no two have the same needs.

The first thing we need to do is have a discussion. We need to access where you are as a trader/investor and what your goals and risk tolerance are. We also need to look at what kind of trader you want to be and what you want to trade. It’s also important that we get to know each other and to be sure that we are comfortable with each other.

Over the years I have found that trading options is where I am most successful. I also have found that using the “Income Strategies” yield the best result for me. That doesn’t mean that they are the best for you, however I encourage every one to at least become familiar with these strategies. They tend to be more complex however they seem to offer the greatest opportunity for long term success once mastered. A balanced approach requires at least some of the more “conservative strategies” be employed.

Mentoring can take many forms. Over the years I have had mentoring sessions here in my office one on one. However other ways work as well. We can work online or over the phone or in some cases I can come to you.

Classes

Classes are still in the planning stage however, if you are interested in a class on a particular subject I will hope to offer these from time to time on line. I believe that it will be best to run these classes like any other online course you might take. So I prefer to have short classes held over several weeks. And there will be homework. I also believe that classes should be kept small so that everyone gets the attention they need and that people of similar interest and level are put together. The intent is to keep these classes to 5 or less.
